10/27

Today we learned about how to find relative and absolute min and maxs. The concept is review, but the systematic approach is different. It all makes perfect sense because if we take account of the critical points and the endpoints, there is no other points that can possibly be greater or lesser. Today we also handed-in our test. It was great that Mr. Flint gave us the opportunity to save our grades, however, it made me realize how inexperienced I am to that type of questions. All of the questions were tough because they made me use everything I learned from the past units/years. It was great because the test served as a learning experience. Well thats pretty much it for now. I'm beginning to start the hw assigned today so I can get some work done in these next few days to make sure I understand it b4 we move on. pce.

10/2

So today we went over some more derivative problems concerning quotients and product properties. I realized that when you simplify the problem before you apply the rules, it makes it sooo much easier. Im really glad that the test was moved because this weekend i wouldnt have any time to study and I didnt really finish all of the hw :/ . Another thing that we did today was to find the equation of the tangent lines that passes through a givin point. Even though it all made perfect sense to me, it is going to take a while to get used to. Ill blog again after the weekend to see how things went with studying and etc. Pce.
